This role emphasises the operation and maintenance of Amada Laser and CNC Turret Punch Press machinery to create high-quality components. Success in this position relies on technical expertise, attention to detail, and effective collaboration to ensure a smooth production process.
Key Responsibilities:
Machine Operation:
- Set up and operate Amada Fibre Lasers & CNC Turret Punch Presses.
- Adjust punch tools and maintain programs to eliminate errors.
- Plan and coordinate daily production tasks efficiently.
Quality Assurance:
- Perform in-process inspections to identify and rectify defects.
- Document inspection results and escalate deviations as necessary.
- Uphold strict quality standards across all production outputs.
Workplace Maintenance:
- Ensure a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety standards.
- Operate machinery and tools with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with team members to maintain smooth workflow and meet production targets.
Pay and Schedule:
Pay Range:
£14.50–£16.75 per hour, based on skills and experience.
Schedule:
Minimum 40 hours per week with 10-hour night shifts.

Experience:
- Minimum 1 year as a CNC Turret Punch Operator.
- Minimum 1 year as a competent Laser Operator.
