As a Production Operative, you will play an essential role in the assembly and production of sheet metal components. The position requires focus, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Tasks:
- Follow clear work instructions to operate production line equipment.
- Assemble and pack sheet metal components accurately.
- Work with power tools and machinery safely and effectively.
Quality Control:
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ensure quality checks are completed as part of the production process.
Workplace Maintenance:
- Clean and maintain work areas and equipment to promote a safe and organised workspace.
Problem Solving:
- Use initiative to address issues, staying calm under pressure to meet deadlines.
Team Collaboration:
- Work as part of a team but also demonstrate the ability to work independently.
Pay and Schedule:
Pay Range:
£14.50–£15.25 per hour, based on experience and skills.
Schedule:
Monday to Thursday, 16:30–03:00
