Laser & CNC Punch Press Operator
About the Role
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Laser/Punch Press Operator to join our nightshift. Key Responsibilities & Requirements: Setting and operation of our 3kW Fibre Laser or one of three Amada CNC Turret Punches.
Core Responsibilities
- Setting punch tools as required.
- Maintain programs within the machine, eliminating programming errors.
- Forward plan and load plan for daily production requirements.
- Communicate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the manufacturing process.
- Operate relevant machinery and tools in a safe manner.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- CNC Turret Punch Operator: 1 year (required)
- Competent Laser Operator: 1 year (required)
- ExProven ability to meet production standards.
Desirable
- Experienced in both CNC turret punching and laser operations, with a proven ability to meet production standards.
- Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and proactive in troubleshooting and process improvement.
- Adaptable to nightshift work and thrives in a collaborative, high-pressure manufacturing environment.
