Pressbrake Setter - Nightshift
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Press Brake Setter to join our production team and support the effective running of our nightshift. The ideal candidate will have practical experience setting and operating press brake machinery, with a good understanding of drawings, quality standards, and safe working practices. This is an important hands-on role, helping to maintain efficient workflow, produce accurate formed components, and ensure work is completed safely, consistently, and to the required standard.

Core Responsibilities
- Set and operate press brake machinery to produce components accurately in line with drawings, specifications, and production requirements.
- Check material, tooling, and programme details before starting work to ensure jobs are completed correctly and efficiently.
- Carry out quality checks during production to confirm parts meet the required dimensions, angles, and finish standards.
- Maintain good communication with team leaders and colleagues to support workflow, priorities, and smooth nightshift operations.
- Follow safe working practices, maintain good housekeeping, and report any issues with machinery, tooling, or product quality.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Previous experience setting and operating press brake machinery within a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, measurements, and production instructions accurately.
- A reliable, practical, and quality-focused approach, with the ability to work safely and efficiently on nightshift.
Desirable
- Experience working with specifically Amada CNC press brakes.
- Knowledge of tooling selection, bend allowances, and material behaviour across different thicknesses and materials.
- Previous experience working on nightshift or in a role requiring good self-management with limited supervision
