Pressbrake Setter - Nightshift
About the Role
This role requires expertise in setting and operating Amada Press Brakes to produce precision sheet metal parts across various industrial sectors. The focus is on quality, efficiency, and teamwork within a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Core Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Amada Press Brakes (mandatory experience required).
- Confidently operate CNC press brakes and work efficiently to meet production targets.
- Experience with Salvagnini panel bending is desirable but not essential.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to produce accurate components.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections throughout production to ensure quality.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Minimum 2 years in a press brake operation role within a manufacturing environment.
- A strong sheet metal fabrication background is highly valued.
- Formal qualifications (e.g., NVQ) in engineering or fabrication are advantageous but not essential.
Desirable
- A seasoned professional with experience in sheet metal fabrication and Amada Press Brakes.
- A detail-oriented team player who thrives in a nightshift environment.
- Someone proactive in suggesting improvements and comfortable mentoring apprentices.
