Temporary Production Operative
About the Role
We are seeking reliable and motivated Temporary Production Operatives to support our busy
manufacturing teams during periods of increased demand. The ideal candidate will have a practical
attitude, good timekeeping, and a willingness to support different areas of production as required. This
is an important hands-on role, helping to maintain workflow, support quality standards, and ensure
work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standard.

Core Responsibilities
- Support production teams with practical tasks across the factory in line with business needs and daily priorities.
- Follow work instructions carefully to help ensure products are completed safely, accurately, and to the required quality standard.
- Assist with handling materials, preparing work areas, moving components, and supporting general production activity.
- Maintain good communication with team leaders and colleagues to support workflow, priorities, and safe working practices.
- Keep work areas clean and organised, following company procedures and reporting any issues with safety, materials, or product quality.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- A reliable and practical approach, with good timekeeping and a willingness to work as part of a team.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work safely within a busy manufacturing environment.
- A positive attitude, good communication skills, and flexibility to support different production areas where required.
Desirable
- Previous experience in manufacturing, engineering, warehouse, logistics, or another hands-on working environment.
- Experience using basic tools, handling materials, or working to production targets.
- Forklift, stack truck or other workplace training would be beneficial but is not essential.
